Special Abilities: Spell Mastery (See Enchantment), Premonition 53%, ESP 32%, Mystic Spells (Psychic Fatigue Check 22 - spell level), Healing Hands, Oracular Advice, Prophecy, Bulwark, Words are Power.
Healing Hands: Cador has a 2 in 6 chance to wake an unconscious character, and adds +2 HP per day to their patient's natural recovery rate while resting.
Oracular Advice: Cador can give a piece of cryptic advice to any single creature he shares a language with after spending at least 10 minutes of uninterrupted concentration on fortune telling. When that creature makes any roll within the next 12 hours, they may recall and interpret Cador's cryptic advice to their advantage. They may reroll the die and must use the second result instead. Cador may only give out one piece of advice at a time, but as soon as the re-roll has been used he may dispense it again.
Prophecy: Cador may look into the near future and see the shape of things to come. This takes 1 hour, during which Cador is effectively in a trance-like state and can’t be interacted with. Cador may cancel the state at any time, but if he does he must start the process again to generate a new prophecy. The Prophecy has a duration of 1 day, 1 week, 1 month, or 1 year (selected by Cador at the time of telling), and only one Prophecy may be in effect at any time. Cador has 10 reroll tokens. Any time within the prophecy period he may spend a reroll token to reroll any roll made by him or a creature that he can see. Once a reroll token is used it is lost, and once Cador has used all of the reroll tokens, the prophecy ends and a new Prophecy may be made.
Bulwark Cador's command over spirits and the supernatural protects him and his companions by dulling the impact of their malevolent presence. By verbally admonishing and commanding the spirit, Cador gives himself and any ally he can see or who can see him a +2 bonus to their Rank when resolving a Fright Attack. If Cador wasn't expecting a Fright Attack, he must succeed on an Intelligence check to react in time to give the bonus.
Words are Power Cador can persuade a group of up to 2d20 characters of his Rank or lower to align themselves to him and follow his reasonable instructions for the duration of the encounter. Cador must spend 1 minute speaking to the group and succeed on a Looks check. The affected characters receive a +1 bonus to either Attack or Defence for 3 combat rounds. This skill can affect an individual character once per day.
Vitality of the Well: Cador's maximum health points have been increased by +5 HP.
Adepthood: Cador's natural rate of healing from wounds is doubled, and he is immune to poison and disease, fright attacks, mind-controlling spells, and possession by demons or spirits.
The Arwen: Cador has 9 magic points that he can use to cast Air Spells from the Elementalist spell list. Cador does not need to carry an Aeolian Harp to cast these spells.
Languages: speaks Elleslandic fluently.
Social Status: nobility.
Secondary Skills: medicine (intermediate).
Possessions: lantern, flint & tinder, backpack, bow (range 50m/125m/250m), 2 quivers of 6 arrows each (d6/d6), dagger (d4/d4), +3 Tyr's sword (d8+3/d6+3, +3 Attack and Defence), hunting sword (d6/d6), mail hauberk (Armour Factor 3), +2 shield from his ancestor Cador (1 in 6 chance to stop an attack, +2 Defence), 205 florins.
