Category: element.
Effect: You imbue an inanimate object with mobility and a semblance
of life. The object understands and obeys your spoken commands.
Paragon Effect: You imbue an inanimate object with intelligence and
life. The creature is free-willed and not under your control. You
can use your ability skill instead of interaction skills when interacting with
the creature.
Prerequisite: Sorcery.
Effect: You turn the
bones or bodies of dead creatures into undead skeletons or zombies that obey
your spoken commands. A skeleton can be created only from a mostly intact skeleton
or corpse. If a skeleton is made from a corpse, the flesh falls off the bones.
A zombie can be created only from a mostly intact corpse.
Paragon Effect: You turn the corpse of a dead person into a vampire.
The vampire is free-willed and not under your control.
Special: A creature that has died can attempt to rise as a
vampire.

of a person who had the Devout Belief feat or who was a follower of the True
Faith and was properly buried by someone with the Devout Belief feat.

dead creature, allowing it to answer questions that you put to it. If the dead

remains are present or if the creature was killed at the location, you animate
the corpse's spirit. You can use Arcana instead of Negotiate to persuade the
dead creature to answer your questions.
Special: You do not actually talk with the creature's soul,
but with the memories left behind in the creature's body. The dead creature's
knowledge is limited to what the creature knew during life: it cannot learn
new information, and does not remember being questioned.
