Attribute: Strength
Avoid Illness: You do not catch a disease (average challenge for a typical disease).
Persevere: You push yourself beyond normal physical limits (easy challenge to hold breath for a little while, average challenge to tread water for some time, difficult challenge to ignore thirst for a day).
Resist Injury: You are not significantly affected by a physical blow that strikes you (opposes damage caused by Melee or Aim).

Evade

Attribute: Dexterity
Avoid Melee: You avoid being hit by a melee weapon when you choose to not engage in melee (opposes Melee).
Dodge: You avoid being hit by a ranged weapon (opposes Aim).

Focus

Attribute: Wisdom
Concentrate: You avoid distractions that would break your concentration (easy challenge, average if being moved violently about or in inclement weather, difficult if being moved violently about and in inclement weather).
Resist Mental Effects: You are not significantly affected by flattery, threats and charms (opposes damage caused by interaction skills).

Map: You make and read maps (average challenge).
Navigate: You find your way to your destination without directions or guidance (average challenge to determine location by the stars, difficult challenge to find destination a day's travel away).

Historical Events: You know about past politics, wars, and other prominent events (average challenge, difficult for little-known events, very difficult for obscure events).

Insight

Attribute: Wisdom
Assess Personality: You get an impression of what motivates another person (easy challenge, can be opposes Acting).
Resist Mental Effects:
You point out flattery, lies, and charms to a person (negates damage caused by interaction skills).
Sense Lies: You can tell when someone lies to you (opposes Acting).

Open Lock: You open a lock (difficult challenge).
Repair Device: You fix a broken mechanical device (difficult challenge).
