You can make a spell last until dispelled or negated.
Prerequisite: None.
Benefit: You can change the spell's duration to permanent.
It takes an additional 10 minutes to cast the spell, which can have Magic Power
of up to your Magic Power -4 (as the 4 Power points expended to use this feat
do not count towards the Magic Power of the pre-cast spell). At the end of the
casting period, you lose 5 XP for each Power point expended on the spell. Spells
with a duration of instantaneous cannot be affected by this feat.
The target or area radiates an aura of magic for as long as the spell is active.
The permanent spell can be dispelled or negated like any other spell. You must
use an item creation feat to make a permanent spell on an object recover from
being dispelled or negated.
Power Cost: A permanent spell uses up an additional 4 Power points. These 4 Power points do not count towards all other spell effects based on Power points expended, such as duration, area, damage, save DC, XP cost, and other heightened effects.
