You awaken a living plant or animal to full sentience. To succeed, you must
make a modified Will save (DC 10 - Power points expended + the animal's current
HD, or the HD the tree will have once awakened). An awakened
animal becomes a magical beast; an awakened plant becomes a wood elemental.
The awakened creature is friendly toward you. You have no special empathy
or connection with a creature you awaken, although it serves you in
specific tasks or endeavors if you communicate your desires to it.
Restriction: as an innate spell, only innate spellcasters can
learn and cast this spell.
Heightened: for 15 Power points, you can awaken a non-living
object composed principally of one element, such as a statue, construct, or
sword.
