Potestas: a D&D3E supplement

Spells

Enhance Object or Creature

Transmutation
Casting Time: 1 standard action
Range: Touch
Target: One object or creature
Duration: 1 minute/Power point
Saving Throw: Will negates (harmless, object)
Spell Resistance: Yes (harmless, object)
Minimum Power Points: 1

The affected object or creature gains a +1 enhancement bonus or a special property with a base price modifier of +1. The spell must give the object or creature an enhancement bonus of at least +1 before they can gain a special property.
Armour: You can give a suit of armour a +1 enhancement bonus. The armour gains +1 hardness and grants a +1 enhancement bonus to defence and damage reduction.
Alternatively, you can give a shield a +1 enhancement bonus. The shield gains +1 hardness and grants a +1 enhancement bonus to defence.
Creature: You can give a creature a +1 enhancement bonus. The creature gains a +1 enhancement bonus to natural armour and a +1 enhancement bonus to attack and damage with one natural attack. The spell can affect a slam attack, fist, bite, or other natural weapon. The spell does not change an unarmed strike's damage from nonlethal damage to lethal damage. The enhancement bonus provided by the spell stacks with the target's natural armor bonus, but not with other enhancement bonuses to natural armor. A creature without natural armor has an effective natural armor bonus of +0.
Weapons: You can give a weapon a +1 enhancement bonus. The weapon gains +1 hardness and grants a +1 enhancement bonus to attack and damage. Alternatively, you can affect as many as fifty arrows, bolts, or bullets. The projectiles must be of the same kind, and they have to be together (in the same quiver or other container). Projectiles, but not thrown weapons, lose their transmutation when used.
Restriction: Choose one category (armour, creature, weapon) when you learn this spell. This spell only affects that category.
Special: Only one of the restrictions is removed when you apply the General Spell metamagic feat to this spell. You must apply the feat twice to remove both restrictions.
Heightened: Every additional 4 Power points increases the total possible enhancement bonus by +1.
