Brenna sends her adventurers to find the body of Saint Ambrosius on behalf of the Monastery of Lorinne, which has won a court case against the Monastery of Amalfi and now has primary claim to the saint's body. The adventurers travel by ship for a fortnight from Doringen to Clyster, then travel across northern Birland for a fortnight until they learn that Saint Ambrosius is buried in Hob's Dell, a place of ancient evil near Norham. They go to Hob's Dell, find the saint's body, and destroy the ancient wight that dwells in the Dell. A local elf, Taliriana, tells them about the history of the wight, Tuannon Dur, and what happened when Ambrosius came to the Dell. They return directly to Clyster with the saint's body, followed and then accompanied by Taliriana, arriving after a fortnight, and are lucky to catch a ship returning north that day. As the ship leaves the docks, two mysterious strangers arrive on horseback, too late to catch them. Summer to Autumn 1393 AUC

The Ettin's Riddle (modified version of D&D adventure)
Brenna sends her adventurers to explore an underground chamber found by miners in northwest Murrell, where they find a number of antiquities. They decide to take a shortcut back through the mountains suggested by the chief miner, Gloin Stout-Hearted, who is one of Ulfgar's brothers. The shortcut runs through a village called Newkeep, but when they arrive at Newkeep they find that a two-headed troll has just destroyed the bridge across the river. They follow the troll's tracks back towards Oldkeep, killing a pair of smaller single-headed trolls along the way, then ambush the two-headed troll when it leaves the keep that evening. The two-headed troll's heads quarrel with each other during the battle, and it is eventually defeated inside its lair shortly before Constable Marwick leads a mob of villagers into Oldkeep. The adventurers bar the doors to the keep against the villagers and talk with one of the troll's heads, learning that it is Kyrnyn, a man of God who was cursed by the evil sorcerer Stondylus several years ago. They persuade Kyrnyn that the other head, Muck, is an expression of his inner rage, breaking the curse and restoring his original human form. Kyrnyn stays at Newkeep to help rebuild the bridge, while the adventurers double back to take their original path through the mountains. Late Autumn 1393 AUC

The Legacy of Threehills (modified version of D&D adventure)
The adventurers return to Manderley Hall and meet Gaberk, the butler of the recently deceased Lord Anton of Threehills. Gaberk tells Marcus that he is a distant nephew of Lord Anton, who has appointed Marcus as the executor of his will. The adventurers travel to Threehills Manor, three hours north of Merin, arriving in the early evening. After dinner, Marcus reads the will, which makes him the sole heir of Lord Anton. Compelled by magic, he then goes to the library and touches a sphere of transference, swapping his soul with Lord Anton's. Taliriana believes something is wrong, but because she is an elf the sphere has no effect on her. When Ulfgar touches it and his soul is pulled from his body, they all believe he has died. Lord Anton in Marcus' body tries to anger the others so that they leave for the night, but is unsuccessful. Eventually there is a confused melee, several more bodies are swapped using the sphere of transference, Taliriana shoots Lord Anton's body (then occupied by the soul of Ivanior the bodyguard) with her rifle, and Lord Anton's soul dies with his body. Everyone is restored to their proper bodies and Gaberk is questioned about his Lord's nefarious scheme, but refuses to talk. The next morning, the adventurers hand Gaberk over to the local authorities, and return to Manderley Hall with the sphere of transference. Early Winter 1393 AUC
