The Emphidian Kingdoms
(Analika, Emphidor, Hudristania, Molasaria)

Head of State: Kings.

Form of Government: weak monarchies, strong nobilities.

State of the Nation in 1393 AUC: The Emphidian kingdoms are poor and impoverished, with many robber barons and terrible monsters. It is not safe to walk about at night in any of these four kingdoms. The influence of the Pontiff of Selentium and, to a lesser extent, the King of Asmuly is greater in most places than that of the actual Kings of these countries.

Races: mostly Humans, some Centaurs.

Religion: Selentine True Faith: officially the Berian True Faith in Hudristania, but the general populace still follows the Selentine True Faith.

Description and History: the people of the Emphidian kingdoms shun the visible signs of their great past. The glorious cities of the Golden Age, when Emphidor was the centre of civilisation, have mostly fallen into ruin, their buildings pillaged for stone, their statues melted down for the metals. Even the pontificates of Teleos and Tion (in Emphidor and Analika respectively) have declined from cities to rural towns. Hudristania follows the Berian True Faith to gain the political favour of Ranimia in dealings with its aggressive neighbours, particularly Asmuly.
