Shelter of the Faithful Amaryllos commands the respect of others who follow the Prilisteenean philosophy, and can perform the religious ceremonies of that pagan tradition. When he is near the Monastery of Priene, he can call on his fellow monks for assistance, provided what he asks for is not hazardous and he is still in good standing with the Monastery.
Unarmoured Defence When wearing no armour and not wielding a shield, Amaryllos has an Armour Class of 8 + proficiency bonus + Dexterity modifier + Wisdom modifier.
Martial Arts When fighting unarmed or wielding monk weapons while wearing no armour and not wielding a shield, Amaryllos can use Dexterity instead of Strength for attacks and damage rolls, can do 1d4 damage with unarmed strikes and monk weapons, and can make one unarmed strike as a bonus action when he attacks with an unarmed strike or a monk weapon.
Mobile Amaryllos is exceptionally speedy and agile. His speed has increased by 10 feet, difficult terrain doesn't cost extra movement when he uses the Dash action, and if he makes a melee attack against an opponent he doesn't provoke opportunity attacks from that opponent for the rest of the turn, regardless of whether he hits or misses.
Ki Amaryllos can draw on the natural power of his body and spend ki points to activate the ki features Flurry of Blows, Patience Defence, and Step of the Wind. Amaryllos has 3 ki points, and regains all spent ki points after a short or long rest.
Unarmoured Movement When wearing no armour and not wielding a shield, Amaryllos' speed increases by 10 feet.
Deflect Missiles Amaryllos can use his reaction to deflect or catch the missile when he is hit by a ranged weapon attack, reducing the damage from the attack by 1d10+8. If Amaryllos reduces the damage to 0, he can catch the missile if it is small enough to hold in one hand and he has at least one hand free. If he catches a missile in this way, Amaryllos can spend 1 ki point to make a ranged attack with the missile as part of the same reaction. He makes this attack with proficiency, regardless of his weapon proficiencies, and the missile counts as a monk weapon for the attack.
Way of the Open Hand Whenever Amaryllos hits a creature with one of the attacks granted by his Flurry of Blows, he can impose one of the following effects on the creature:
Druidic Spellcasting Amaryllos can draw on the natural power of the world around him to cast spells. Amaryllos knows the cantrips Frostbite, Mending and Produce Flame, has four 1st level spell slots and three 2nd level spell slots, and can prepare six spells (typically Barkskin, Cure Wounds, Jump, Lesser Restoration, Longstrider and Thunderwave). Amaryllos can use rituals to cast druid spells with the ritual tag, and can use a druidic focus.
Wild Shape Amaryllos can use a bonus action to magically assume the shape of a beast he has seen before of up to CR 1 that does not have a fly speed. He can stay in the shape of the beast for up to two hours. Amaryllos can use this ability 2 times, and regains spent uses of wild shape after a short or long rest.
Circle of the Moon While in wild shape, Amaryllos can use a bonus action to expend a spell slot and regain 1d8 hit points per level of the expended spell slot.
