Court Functionary Martina's understanding of how bureaucracies function lets her gain access to the records and inner workings of any noble court or government she encounters and quickly learn who the movers and shakers are, whom to go to for the favors you seek, and what the current intrigues of interest in the group are.

Observant If she can see a creature's mouth while it is speaking a language she understands, Martina can interpret what the creature is saying by reading its lips.

Protection Fighting Style When Martina is wielding a shield and a creature she can see attacks another creature who is within 5 feet of her, Martina can use her reaction to impose disadvantage on the attack roll.

Second Wind On her turn, Martina can use a bonus action to regain 1d10+14 hit points. Martina must finish a short or long rest to use second wind again.

Action Surge On her turn, Martina can take one additional action on top of her regular action and a possible bonus action. Martina must finish a short or long rest to use action surge again.

Born to the Saddle Martina has advantage on saving throws to avoid falling off her mount, and can land on her feet if she falls off her mount and descends no more than 10 feet, and is not incapacitated. Mounting or dismounting a creatures costs Martina only 5 feet of movement, rather than half her speed.

Unwavering Mark When Martina hits a creature with a melee weapon attack, she can mark the creature until the end of her next turn. The effect ends early if she is incapacitated, dies, or if someone else marks the creature. While the creature is within 5 feet of Martina, it has disadvantage on any attack roll that doesn't target Martina. In addition, if a creature marked by Martina does damage to anyone other than her, she can make a special melee weapon attack against the marked creature as a bonus action on her next turn. Martina has advantage on this special attack, and the attack's weapon does 6 extra damage. Martina can make special melee weapon attacks 3 times, and regains all expended uses after a long rest.

Mounted Combatant While she is mounted and not incapacitated, Martina has advantage on melee attacks rolls against any unmounted creature that is smaller than her mount. Martina can force an attack targeted at her mount to target her instead, and if her mount is subjected to an effect that allows it to make a Dexterity saving throw to take half damage, it instead takes no damage on a successful saving throw and half damage if it fails.

Extra Attack Martina can attack three times instead of once when she takes the attack action on her turn.

Alert Martina can't be surprised if she is conscious, and creatures she cannot see do not gain advantage on attack rolls against her.

Warding Manoeuvre If Martina is wielding a melee weapon or a shield and she or a creature she can see within 5 feet of her is hit by an attack, Martina can use her reaction to add 1d8 to the target's AC against that attack. If the attack still hits, the target has resistance against the attack's damage. Martina can use her warding manoeuvre 3 times, and regains all expended uses after a long rest.

Resilient Martina is proficient with Wisdom saving throws.

Indomitable Martina can reroll a saving throw she has failed, and must use the new roll. Martina can use this feature 2 times, and regains all expended uses after a long rest.

Hold the Line Creatures provoke an opportunity attack from Martina when they move 5 feet or more while within her reach. If Martina hits a creature with an opportunity attack, the target's speed is reduced to 0 until the end of the current turn.

Bolstering Rally As a bonus action, Martina can encourage one creature within 30 feet (including herself) who can see or hear her, giving the target 1d8+6 temporary hit points. Martina can use her bolstering rally 4 times, and regains all expended uses after a long rest.

Shield Master If Martina takes the Attack action on her turn, she can use a bonus action to try to shove a creature within 5 feet of her with her shield. If she isn't incapacitated, Martina adds her shield's +2 AC bonus to Dexterity saving throws against spells and other harmful effects that only target her. Martina can use her reaction to interpose her shield and take no damage from an effect that allows her to make a Dexterity saving throw to only take half damage.

Independently Wealthy Martina owns an estate in the Duchy of Fossalta in Peronnia at Colciago that is worth 600 pounds and provides her with an annual income of 50 pounds.

Elfbane This longsword is a divine magic item and contains Saint Modwenna's fingerbone in its pommel. When wielded by a mortal or part-mortal follower of the True Faith, you gain a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls, and fey creatures hit with his weapon take an extra 3d6 damage of the weapon's type.

Ring of Warmth This silver ring is an arcane magic item. When worn and attuned, you have resistance to cold damage. In addition, you and everything you wear and carry are unharmed by temperatures as low as −50 degrees Fahrenheit.

A Great Debt Martina borrowed 10 pounds from her uncle Renaldo on 1 Vintage-Month 1401 AUC. She is due to repay 15 pounds, covering both the principal and 50% interest compounded annually, on 2 Vintage-Month Day 1402 AUC.
