Chapter Five: Feats

The approved lists of Combat feats, General feats, Item Creation feats, Magic Feats and Metamagic feats are as follows.

Combat Feats

Exploit Weakess Int 15, Combat Expertise add Int bonus to attacks against one opponent
Improved Disarm Combat Expertise +4 bonus on disarm attempts, no attack of opportunity
Improved Feint Combat Expertise feint in combat as a move action
Improved Trip Combat Expertise +4 bonus on trip attempts, no attack of opportunity
Parry Combat Expertise add Int bonus to AC against one opponent
Whirlwind Attack Dex 13, Combat Expertise, Dodge, Mobility, Spring Attack, base attack bonus +4 one melee attack against every opponent within reach
Combat Reflexes none additional attacks of opportunity
Defensive Stance Dex 13 +1 dodge bonus to AC against all melee attacks
Agile Riposte Dex 13, Defensive Stance attack of opportunity against opponent who misses with a melee attack
Deflect Missile Dex 13, proficient with weapon deflect one ranged attack per round
Dodge Dex 13 +4 dodge bonus to AC against all ranged attacks when moving or using cover
Mobility Dodge +4 dodge bonus to AC against some attacks of opportunity
Spring Attack Mobility, base attack bonus +4 move before and after melee attack
Exotic Weapon Proficiency base attack bonus +1 proficient with specific exotic weapon
Flurry of Blows none one extra melee attack each round
Improved Critical proficiency with weapon, base attack bonus +8 double threat range of weapon
Exotic Weapon Proficiency base attack bonus +1 proficient with specific exotic weapon
Improved Initiative none +4 bonus on initiative checks
Improved Unarmed Strike base attack bonus +1 considered armed even when unarmed
Improved Grapple Improved Unarmed Strike +4 bonus on grapple attempts, no attack of opportunity
Martial Weapon Proficiency none proficient with specific martial weapon
Mounted Combat Ride 1 rank negate one attack on mount each round
Mounted Archery Mounted Combat half penalty for ranged attacks while mounted
Ride-By Attack Mounted Combat move before and after a mounted charge
Spirited Charge Mounted Combat, Ride-By Attack double damage with a mounted charge
Trample Mounted Combat target cannot avoid mounted overrun
Point Blank Shot none +1 bonus on ranged attack and damage within 30 feet
Far Shot Point Blank Shot increase range increment
Dead Aim Point Blank Shot, Far Shot increase range increment
Manyshot Dex 17, Point Blank Shot, Rapid Shot, base attack bonus +6 shoot two or more arrows simultaneously
Precise Shot Point Blank Shot no -4 penalty for shooting into melee
Improved Precise Shot Dex 19, Point Blank Shot, Precise Shot, base attack bonus +11 ignore less than total cover or concealment with ranged attacks
Rapid Shot Dex 13, Point Blank Shot one extra ranged attack each round
Shot on the Run Dex 13, Dodge, Mobility, Point Blank Shot, base attack bonus +4 move before and after ranged attack
Power Attack Str 13 trade attack bonus for damage (up to base attack bonus)
Cleave Power Attack extra melee attack after dropping target
Great Cleave Power Attack, Cleave, base attack bonus +4 no limit to extra melee attacks after dropping target
Improved Bull Rush Power Attack +4 bonus on bull rush attempts, no attack of opportunity
Improved Charge Power Attack double damage with a charge
Improved Demoralise Power Attack demoralise in combat as a move action
Improved Overrun Power Attack +4 bonus on overrun attempts, no attack of opportunity
Improved Sunder Power Attack +4 bonus on sunder attempts, no attack of opportunity
Quick Draw base attack bonus +1 draw weapon as a free action
Rapid Reload proficiency with weapon reload weapon more quickly
Shield Proficiency none no armour check penalty
Improved Shield Bash Shield Proficiency retain shield bonus to AC when shield bashing
Tower Shield Proficiency Shield Proficiency no armour check penalty
Simple Weapon Proficiency none proficient with all simple weapons
Stunning Attack proficiency with weapon, base attack bonus +1 bludgeoning attack may stun opponent
Paralysing Attack proficiency with weapon, Stunning Attack, base attack bonus +6 bludgeoning attack may paralyse opponent
Toughness none +3 hit points
Two-Weapon Fighting Dex 15 reduces two-weapon fighting penalties, gives +1 shield bonus to AC
Two-Weapon Defence Two-Weapon Fighting gives +2 shield bonus to AC
Weapon Finesse proficiency with weapon, base attack bonus +1 use Dex modifier instead of Str modifier on attack rolls with light melee weapons
Weapon Focus proficiency with weapon, base attack bonus +1 +1 bonus on attack rolls with weapon
Weapon Specialisation Weapon Focus with weapon, base attack bonus +4 +2 bonus on damage rolls with weapon
Greater Weapon Focus Weapon Focus with weapon, base attack bonus +8 +2 bonus on attack rolls with weapon
Greater Weapon Specialisation Greater Weapon Focus with weapon, Weapon Specialisation with Weapon, base attack bonus +12 +4 bonus on damage rolls with weapon

General Feats

Devout Belief none divine spells are more effective, can hold off arcane creatures
Turn Arcane Devout Belief can turn arcane creatures and destroy undead creatures
Extra Turning Devout Belief, Turn Arcane can turn arcane creatures an additional 4 times per day
Education none all knowledge skills are class skills
Emulate Item Creation Use Magic Device 5 ranks non-spellcaster can access Item Creation feats
Endurance none +4 bonus on checks or saves to resist nonlethal damage
Diehard Endurance remain conscious on negative hit points
Great Fortitude none +2 bonus on Fortitude saves
Iron Will none +2 bonus on Will saves
Leadership character level 6 attract cohort and followers
Lightning Reflexes none +2 bonus on Reflex saves
Run none run at 5 times normal speed
Skill Focus none bonus to one or more skills
Greater Skill Focus Skill Focus with skill or skills increased bonus to one or more skills
Slow Fall Tumble 5 ranks, base Reflex save +3 use a nearby wall to slow your fall and reduce damage
Track none use Survival skill to track
Versatile Int 13 any two skills are class skills

Item Creation Feats

Brew Potion caster level 3 create single-use magic items
Craft Magic Arms & Armour caster level 5 create magical weapons and armour
Craft Wand, Rod & Staff caster level 5 create charged magic items
Craft Wondrous Item caster level 10 create constant magic items
Scribe Scroll caster level 1 create spell-completion magic items

Eschew Materials none cast spells without material components
Magical Artisan any Item Creation feat create magic items quicker and cheaper
Natural Spell Wis 13, nature spellcaster cast spells while in wild shape
Spell Focus none +1 bonus on spell DCs for one school of magic
Greater Spell Focus Spell Focus with school of magic +2 bonus on spell DCs for one school of magic
Spell Mastery ability to intuitively know spells you intuitively know additional spells
Spell Penetration none +2 bonus on caster level checks to defeat spell resistance
Greater Spell Penetration Spell Penetration +4 bonus on caster level checks to defeat spell resistance
Summon Familiar none summon an animal as a familiar
Summon Improved Familiar Summon Familiar summon a magic beast as a familiar

Metamagic Feats

Chain Spell spells affects secondary targets with reduced effect +3 spell levels
Delay Spell spell takes effect after a short delay +3 spell levels
Empower Spell increase spell's variable numeric effects +2 spell levels
Enlarge Spell double spell's range +1 spell level
Extend Spell double spell's duration +1 spell level
Heighten Spell cast spells as higher level variable
Mass Spell spell affects multiple targets +4 spell levels
Maximise Spell maximises spell's variable numeric effects +3 spell levels
Quicken Spell cast spells as free action +4 spell levels
Silent Spell cast spells without verbal components +1 spell level
Still Spell cast spells without somatic components +1 spell level
Widen Spell double spell's area +3 spell levels
