Mayauel believes she is the reincarnation of Saaknathur, one of the Seven Eternal Sorcerers. She is one of the five Davinan children who were sacrificed to the elements by their tribe. Mayauel was placed in the river as a sacrifice to water, and was carried through the Cosh Goyope and across the Deeps of Rasakna and the Sea of Lament to the Grey Rock, where she came ashore in 1360 AUC. Mayauel is unmarried.

He was killed alongside the Witch-King at the Battle of Mantil in 891 AUC, and had recently returned to life through the Cycle of Arda. Tyglarior was tasked by the Witch-King with supervising the goblin raids on the Dorr Pass, with the goal of stopping pilgrims travelling north to Selentium to celebrate the Jubilee. The adventurers killed Tyglarior and buried him in an ancient dwarven crypt under a mound of rubble.
