The Goblin Kingdoms
(Krarth)

Head of State: Kings and High Kings.

Form of Government: short-lived monarchies.

State of the Nation in 1393 AUC: The Goblins of Krarth have been growing in power and influence for the past few centuries. Menarland and Old Duneld are regularly raided by Goblin warbands, exacting a heavy toll in slaves and tribute; Petkenak tribes provide lumber and slaves to their Goblin overlords, with which the Goblins build fleets to patrol the western parts of the Mistral Sea; Goblin warbands regularly march north to western Thurander, where the Great War against the Dwarves has continued unabated for more than two hundred years. Fortunately, no king or queen of the Goblins has managed to establish a kingdom that outlasted their lifespan: any Goblin can become a king if they have enough followers.

Races: mostly Goblins with Human and Dwarven slaves.

Religion: Paganism.

Description and History: The Goblins of Krarth are a force for evil and darkness. They formed the bulk of Angmar the Witch-King's army before the Empire of Wyrd was overcome by the Selentine Empire five hundred years ago, and even now they serve the Witch-King by shielding his island from outsiders.
