Description and History: A green and prosperous land, Teran's influence over Kevland, the Lurium kingdoms and the city-states of eastern Peronnia has created a large and stable market dominated by Teranian merchants. The threat of Teran's military power has fostered peaceful relations between the various Human kingdoms north of Krarth. Without local wars, the chivalrous youth of Teran range far and wide in search of glory and honour: the Order of the Rose was founded at the court of Teran, and many Teranians have joined the Crusade.

Hugh Meturus, governor of Merin (dux Merini), seceded from the Selentine Empire and established the Kingdom of Teran in 1013 AUC after the murder of Empress Irene III Vatatzes of Navyn.
Hugh II, reigned 1024-1082 AUC
The First Vestadian-Teranian War (1035 to 1038) ends with the establishment of the modern border between the two countries and a guarantee of independence for the kingdom of Murrell. Vestad occupied Valan after the Second Vestadian-Teranian War (1061 to 1063), but lost the strategic city after the Third Vestadian-Teranian War (1072 to 1076).
